DaoJia Overview PDF Print E-mail

The purpose for creating the DaoJia web site is to provide a portal for students of the Dao to access the teachings of Professor Wong and to develop a community surrounding the knowledge. This system of Dao is distinct from Dao Jiao which is a religious system - we study the system of Dao Jia, nature Dao.

This structure allows for several levels of participation from contributing your time to writing and editing the Dao notes to writing articles of interest relating to Dao Jia.

In time the teachings will all be uploaded to a secure members area and available to those who are seriously dedicate to the further development of their studies. DaoJia will also function to stimulate healthy discussion about the material that is presented and students can post questions to Professor which will in turn be answered when Professor meets with the group.

We also intend to have a seasonal newsletter and invite you to subscribe. At any stage you may wish to opt out of receiving the newsletter and can manage this from the links in the footer of the newsletter. As easy as it is to opt out you may wish to subscribe again just as easily.

Tao Te Ching

The Tao is like an empty container: it can never be emptied and can never be filled. Infinitely deep, it is the source of all things. It dulls the sharp, unties the knotted, shades the lighted, and unites all of creation with dust.

It is hidden but always present.

I don't know who gave birth to it.

It is older than the concept of God.
